The Total worst thing ever.
A truly talented funny man.
Very very clever, brilliant stuff.
His Al Jolson just kills me
He was brilliant saw him 3 times at blackpool …always the same act and always more funny everytime he did it i would have watched him every week if i could i dont laugh things too easily but he always had me in tears .
"I went in a wine bar last night; everyone was whining!" - Probably the worst joke ever conceived.
I used to do this when I was a fireman in the RAF talking to air traffic laughing away to ourselves and when we got back the the section the Sarge would call ground radio
Fk sake I thought that was Gordon Strachan 🎉🎉🎉
Utter crap. Remember my mum thinking he was entertaining.
I was 9 When I First Saw The "Hey! Weird Man!! Slither!!!" I Thought That Was His Name (!😅!) I Love This Guy So Much ♥️ Wasn't He On A Few Adverts Too Also?! 🎼"Spook!"🎼 We Used To Try & Copy His Moves & Phrases & Then We Always Got Into A Heap Of Trouble For Being & Acting Too *Weird* [¡😂¡] It Was Always Completely Amazing When He'd Just Pop Up On Another Show!!! God Bless Him (![¡😅¡]!)
Awful
I hated this unfunny twat as a kid. Years later, I still want to slap his face.
I saw him at blazers in Windsor years ago. . Unfortunately he didn’t last that long in the limelight. But he was good.
A comedians comedian
Brilliant true comedy, the world of today would be choking, let em get on with it, but, do it quietly
After hecklers disrupted a live performance of his he "slithered" down his pants & committed a lewd act. It certainly "spooked" the audience. What wasn't so "weird" was that it fucked up his career & was reduced to club performances up to his death in 2007.
He has passed away in the 90’s he was one of the best entertainers
You'd never get away with this hilarious classic comedy in today's snowflake society
Norman Collier - 1980's TV show 0616am 9.5.23 norman collier? sacred stiff if you read other folks' comments about the chap.
It was utter shite then, still is but it kept the Butlin and bingo lot happy. 👍
This guy is so funny. Never laughed so much in my life.
One of the funniest things on RUclips.
is there anymore of Franklyn James on u tube????
So terrible you could pass it off as genius performance art or pioneering anti-comedy.
A very funny man thank for sharing from New Zealand
Yes , a certain comedian stole all Franklyn 's ,material... God Bless , at least you were the original.x
Shite
Great comedy. Norman was very funny. Blacking up was no issue then, we didn't care, it was funny. Who cared if it was offensive to some. If you don't like it then you don't watch it.
When you could address people as ladies and gentlemen without the alphabet they/ them getting offended.
Can't remember him at all but very funny. Had a great laugh on telly back then.
Rest in peace Mr collier gone but not forgotten 😃😃😃😃
Here here
Love this guy, always makes me laff!!
I can remember seeing this guy in the nineties and the catch phrase “slither “ and thinking what a complete creep 😡
which venue was this in Brighton please?
Hideously watchable....A heady mix of innovation and complete wankiness...Whereas Russ Abbot made me nauseous so I approve of this man...nice arse too.
Original comedy ,without the PC shit.
Saturday evening tv in the 80's, imagine this today lmao that 5 min clip would be enough to break twitter.
He was one of our finest comedians He slithered off this mortal coil far too soon.
Brilliant comedian Do you think he'd get away with the Al Jolson gag this day and age. Not on your life with this cancel culture, It's killing comedy RIP Norman you where one of a kind but the laughs you gave us lives on.
Loved this bloke
This is painful 😴😐😐
No it’s true comedy, slither man
@@englishcat19 are you mad, this is pure shite
Painfully good?
@@bettyswollocks3922 I remember watching him on TV thinking the same thing back in the 80’s 🤷🏻♂️
@@bettyswollocks3922 thank you, 45 years young 😎
Britt comedy has gone down the sink, its all sarcastic now.
saw him in bookmakers down colchester high street in the 70s
I was 12 year old back then,
I was 12 year old back then,!
I DID NOT EXPECT THAT HAHAHA
So funny
They used to say that he was one of Britain's crown jewels, and as such should be locked in the tower. Brilliant comedian.
